Thank you for spending time on the Wear-Dated website and in the Newsroom.

We take seriously carpet and providing information that will make learning about carpet, selecting carpet, buying carpet and caring for carpet easier.  That's why we created this website and The Carpetology Blog.

We also welcome your perspective and encourage you to comment and make suggestions within the website.  Ideas on topics we might not have covered, or covered sufficiently, or ideas on how to improve the website, as well as specific reactions...

More specifically,

  • You can comment on and rate products.
  • You can comment on and rate retailers.
  • You can also comment on items in the News & Events section of the Newsroom [e.g., press releases, News and the Carpetology Blog].
  • You can add comments to this post.

To comment, you must be registered on the website.

When you provide your perspectives and ideas, we ask that you keep the conversation relevant to the general interest of all readers, maintain respect for everyone involved (no matter the circumstance), and offer comments that add value and depth to the conversation.

We will moderate comments, and reserve the right to exclude any offensive or irrelevant posts. But because we’d prefer the conversation to flow freely, we ask that you be respectful and simply think before you type. We promise to do the same, and although we may not be able to respond to every comment, we’ll do our best to do so in a thoughtful and timely manner.

Know, too, that if we can't act on your suggestions, it's not that we don't appreciate your ideas.  It's just that we can't.  But, we'll let you know.

If you have a personal comment, such as a specific Wear-Dated customer service or warranty issue, please follow the instructions in the Wear-Dated claim and warranty section of our website.

We also request that you not post private information as this is a public forum, so if you’d rather others didn’t see something, like a phone number or address, please refrain from including it in your comments. Otherwise, it will be edited for your safety.

We will not share any subscription information with outside parties. We may try to email you, though, for additional followup. And, we may refer your comments to specific retailers or carpet mills.

Thank you for reading. We're excited about this opportunity to share with you more information relating to Beauty, Comfort, Durability and carpet!

How to Read A Label

Carpet bearing the Wear-Dated® carpet fiber logo assures you of the highest quality materials and technology available. Before any carpet earns the famous Wear-Dated® carpet fiber label, it must pass rigorous tests and meet exacting standards for construction.
