Subscription Options
You have two options available for subscribing to our latest news: by email or by RSS. If you choose email, any updates will be delivered to your email inbox. If you choose RSS, updates will appear in your ‘feed reader’ where you can access them on your terms, when it’s convenient to you and where you can organize them in a way that makes sense to you.
For email:
Look for the Feedburner icon that looks like this: 
. Click on the icon; it will bring up a separate window where you can enter your email address. Note that you also need to enter spam-prevention letters into a box.
Entering your email address will trigger a verification message to your email inbox that you must open and click on the link within. Once 'verified,' FeedBurner activates your subscription to “News & Events”. You are good to go!
What is RSS?
RSS – which stands for Really Simple Syndication – allows you to receive news updates in one centralized place that you access when you want to read the information. So, instead of having more emails delivered to your inbox, or needing to go to a multitude of various websites and news sites, you subscribe to the ‘feeds’ that interest you and go to your ‘feed reader’ to access them.
How to Get Started?
First, you need to enable an RSS feed reader. It’s easy, and most are free. Popular RSS readers include Google Reader, Newsgator, Bloglines and Netvibes. So, visit one of those options and set up an account.
Then, whenever you go to a site with content that interests you, look for the bright orange RSS icon and click on that.
It will take you to a page where you can select your feed reader and enable the subscription.
What Are You Subscribing To in the Newsroom?
By subscribing via RSS or email to the Wear-Dated Newsroom, you will receive any updates to items posted in the Newsroom. That includes Wear-Dated News and Press Releases.
How Does This Differ From Registering For the Wear-Dated Website?
We invite you to register for access to the Wear-Dated access for the following reasons:
- It enables you to comment and rate your product or retailer experiences.
- It means you can receive our Wear-Dated newsletter summarizing happenings on the website and at Wear-Dated. Note the word 'can.' You can decide whether to receive it or not.
