Welcome to the November issue of the Wear-Dated e-Newsletter! 

With Thanksgiving comes the official beginning of the Holiday Season, a time filled with thoughts of family and friends, hospitality, celebration and appreciation for all that's wonderful around us.  This year, possibly more than ever.

We are particularly pleased to share with you two new documents:  The Wear-Dated Carpet Buying Sheet and The Wear-Dated Shag Carpet Maintenance Sheet.  Both are filled with valuable tips to make your carpet experience that much more satisfying and fun.

On The Carpetology Blog, we found really Wow! carpet,discuss carpet benefits,and the history and science of nylon carpet.

Possibly the most exciting news this week is an editorial titled "Designer's Walk" in the Fall 2008 issue of Fabulous Floors Magazine that discusses how to create a color palette.  It refers to the Wear-Dated Field Guide to Color Color Folio 2008 based on John J. Audubon's beautiful prints of birds.

In The Carpetology Blog, we feature another Design Reviews From The Floor Up, advice from Annette Smith on how to remove grease from carpet, and detail the wonderful reviews and testimonials that our submission to the 2008 Forrester Groundswell Awards generated.

We presented about the retail experience to the Washington State Floor Covering Association.

In home design, color plays a major role, offering depth, dimension and even luxury to any décor. Wear-Dated carpet fiber provides homeowners with a wealth of ways to explore the rich benefits of color.

As announced in a press release, we will be sharing one of our retail experience presentations in Suwanee, GA on Sept. 17, 2008.  This one is titled "What Your Register Tape Doesn't Tell You."
